Abstract
Abstract The present invention relates to a composite article which is made by applying an adhesive composite to one side of foils of metal, preferably aluminum. The adhesive composition comprises an ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer and a linear low density polyethylene. A sheet of fiber-reinforced polypropylene has been heat-lofted. Finally, the adhesive coated side of the metal foils are mated with the treated polypropylene sheet under elevated temperature and pressure for forming the composite article.
