Claim 4
Dependent Claim
60 words
A breach-cooling method according to claim 2 wherein said imperforate wall first surface is an outer surface and said cooling fluid boundary layer and second jet, after contacting said imperforate wall outer surface, are channeled downstream through said outlets as a film of cooling fluid along an inner surface of a film cooled wall disposed downstream of said breach-cooled wall.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
94 words
A breach-cooling method according to claim 3 wherein said cooling fluid first and second jets are channeled from first and second inlets, respectively, in said second wall spaced from said breach-cooled imperforate wall, and said film-cooling fluid flows from said outlets in an aft wall joined to said breach-cooled imperforate wall, and said breach-cooled imperforate wall, said second wall, and said aft wall define said enclosed plenum having a first pressure drop across said inlets and a second pressure drop across said outlets, said first pressure drop being larger than said second pressure drop.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
