Claim 3
Dependent Claim
30 words
The coextrusion apparatus defined in claim 1 in which the compensating ring includes an outer cylindrical surface which is slidably engaged with an inner cylindrical surface of the die ring.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim

The coextrusion apparatus defined in claim 1 in which the compensating ring terminates in a generally conical inner end face which forms the expansion chamber in communication with the inner flow channel.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
79 words
The coextrusion apparatus defined in claim 3 in which the fluid supply means is a plurality of fluid supply lines; and in which the fluid supply lines communicate with the fluid chambers on opposite sides of the pistons for positively reciprocally moving said pistons in opposite directions within their respective chambers for moving the compensating ring to vary the size of the expansion chamber and for moving the die ring to vary the size of the inner extrusion orifice.
