Abstract
Abstract A method of treating telangiectasia in a target area in a patient's dermis includes the steps of passing a laser beam against and through the patient's epidermis to the target area and simultaneously subjecting the patients epidermis to a cooling fluid at the location of the epidermis entered by the laser beam. The apparatus for effecting the treatment includes a laser beam source and devices for subjecting the patient's epidermis to a cooling fluid where the laser beam enters the epidermis.
