Abstract

Abstract The invention features a shielded cable that has reduced susceptibility to system generated electromagnetic pulse effects. A two-part silicone rubber compound introduced to the conductive core and shield of the cable fills in all the voids and spaces between the wire leads and the shield braided strands, thus eliminating the deleterious pulse effect susceptibility.
