Abstract

Abstract Polymer blends exhibiting improved mechanical properties of strength and toughness comprise blends of a major proportion of a linear alternating polymer of carbon monoxide and at least one ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon with minor proportions of a polymeric polyamide and a polymer of an α-olefin and an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid having an optional third monomer and optional partial neutralization of the carboxylic acid groups by non-alkali metal.
