A noncompacted powder composition for make-up or care of the body and face having superior oil absorbing effect consisting essentially of hollow microspheres of a vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile polymer containing by weight 20 to 60 percent of units derived from vinylidene chloride, 20 to 60 percent of units derived from acrylonitrile and 0-40 percent by weight of units derived from an acrylic or styrene monomer and having a specific mass less than 0.1 g/cm 3 , said microspheres being present in an amount ranging from 0.2 to 20 weight percent based on the total weight of said composition, and an oil present in an amount ranging from 1.5 to 70 weight percent based on the total weight of said composition characterized by base of spreading, fineness, softness and comfort.
