Abstract
Abstract A color image forming apparatus including; a discriminating circuit for discriminating a character portion of an object color image; a color image forming device for forming a color image, and able to change the image forming resolution; and a control circuit for causing change of the resolution of the color image forming device in accordance with the discrimination result provided by the discriminating circuit.
