Abstract

Abstract A purification system for cooling tower water where no antiscalent chemicals need be added when the water is provided from a municipal source. The water is continually filtered and disinfected, and its TDS is kept at acceptable levels, by the use of nanofiltration in combination with ionization. Water discharge form the tower is reduced by 80 percent or more.
