Abstract
Abstract An aqueous single liquid phase detergent composition suitable for topical application to human skin comprises from 10 to 50% by weight of one or more C12 to C18 fatty acid soaps; and from 5 to 30% by weight of one or more ethoxylated C8 to C22 fatty alcohol having an average of from 20 to 50 ethoxylate groups. The composition is preferably in the form of a transparent gel product, suitably for washing the face.
