Total Claims: 15
Claim 1
Independent Claim 25 words
A golf ball having a spherical surface with a plurality of dimples formed therein and no three dimples in a row having edges that align.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 25 words
A golf ball having a spherical surface with a plurality of dimples formed therein and no three dimples in a row having edges that align.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 15 words
The golf ball of claim 1 wherein all dimples have substantially similar nominal dimple diameter.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 18 words
The golf ball of claim 1 wherein no two adjacent dimples have a substantially similar nominal dimple diameter.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 15 words
The golf ball of claims 1, 2 or 3 having about 432 to 440 dimples.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 15 words
The golf ball of claims 1, 2 or 3 having about 448 to 456 dimples.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 132 words
A golf ball having a spherical surface with a plurality of dimples formed therein, no three dimples in a row having edges that align, and four parting lines which do not intersect any dimples, the dimples being arranged by dividing the surface of the golf ball into eight equilateral triangles and six squares, said eight triangles and six squares being formed by inscribing an octahedron in said spherical surface, locating the midpoint on each edge of said octahedron and forming four great circular paths on said spherical surface wherein each great circular path passes through six midpoints, said four parting lines corresponding to said four great circular paths and said dimples being arranged in said eight equilateral triangles and six squares such that the dimples do not intersect the four parting lines.
Claim 8
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 42 words
The golf ball of claim 6 wherein each one of said six squares has a dimple pattern substantially similar to each other square and each one of said eight equilateral triangles has a dimple pattern substantially similar to each other equilateral triangle.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 17 words
The golf ball of claims 6 or 7 wherein all dimples have substantially similar nominal dimple diameter.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 12 words
The golf ball of claim 8 having about 432 to 440 dimples.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 12 words
The golf ball of claim 8 having about 448 to 456 dimples.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 18 words
The golf ball of claims 6 or 7 wherein no two adjacent dimples have substantially similar dimple diameter.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 12 words
The golf ball of claim 11 having about 432 to 440 dimples.
Claim 15
Dependent Claim 12 words
The golf ball of claim 11 having about 448 to 456 dimples.
