Abstract
Abstract A system for controlling a clutch has an engine speed sensor for producing an engine speed signal and a controller for controlling the torque of the clutch at start of a vehicle in accordance with engine speed. An atmoshperic pressure sensor is provided for detecting the atmospheric pressure. In accordance with the detected atmospheric pressure at high altitude, the torque of the clutch is reduced.
