Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to an improved method of preparing closed cell foams using 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluorobutane as a blowing agent and insulating gas in the production of such foams, including isocyanate-based foams such as polyurethane foams and polyisocyanurate foams.
