Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 12
Claim 1
Independent Claim 62 words
A method of improving the antisoiling or anti-redeposition properties of a detergent composition comprising the step of adding to said detergent an amount of a latex which comprises a vinyl copolymer of at least one (meth)acrylic ester and at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid grafted with at least 1% polyester sulfonate effective for improving the antisoiling and anti-redeposition properties of said detergent.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 62 words
A method of improving the antisoiling or anti-redeposition properties of a detergent composition comprising the step of adding to said detergent an amount of a latex which comprises a vinyl copolymer of at least one (meth)acrylic ester and at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid grafted with at least 1% polyester sulfonate effective for improving the antisoiling and anti-redeposition properties of said detergent.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 14 words
The method of claim 1 comprising at least 0.1% by weight of the latex.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 32 words
The method of claim 2, wherein said vinyl copolymer is a copolymer of at least one (meth)acrylic ester and at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid selected from (meth)acrylic, itaconic and maleic acids.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 23 words
The method of claim 3, wherein said (meth)acrylic ester is selected from esters wherein the alkyl chain contains 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 15 words
The method of claim 3, wherein said (meth)acrylic ester is selected from methyl(meth)acrylate and ethyl(meth)acrylate.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 18 words
The method of claim 3, wherein said vinyl copolymer is grafted with at most 10% of polyester sulfonate.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 39 words
The method of claim 6, wherein said polyester sulfonate contains a distribution of phthalic or succinic acid with respect to ethylene oxide of about 60% by weight of phthalic or succinic acid for 40% by weight of ethylene oxide.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 14 words
The method of claim 1 comprising at least 0.2% by weight of the latex.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 14 words
The method of claim 1 comprising at least 0.4% by weight of the latex.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 18 words
The method of claim 2, wherein the percent by weight of acid comonomer ranges from 3 to 8%.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 21 words
The method of claim 1, wherein the percent by weight of the carboxylic acid comonomer ranges from about 10 to 20%.
