Abstract
Abstract In the case of an electroacoustic transducer with a supporting body carrying coil turns and in particular a vibrating hollow body with a curved surface, such as a magnetostrictive ball, in order to obtain an optimum distribution of the modulation energy, it is proposed that the coil is applied to the supporting body (2) as a flat material corrugated strip (3) at right angles to the running direction.
