A process for making the cable of claim 1 which comprises: (a) applying microporous polymeric material around a conductive wire to form an insulative coating, (b) subjecting the coated wire to a solution of an organic solvent soluble polyurethane and drying the resulting assembly, (c) laminating film of an extruded polyurethane around said resulting assembly in a manner that encapsulates said assembly.
