Abstract A facial and/or body prosthesis or appliance is disclosed. The material formed into the final prosthesis is a specific material uniquely adapted for the purpose. The material is a closed-cell, cross-linked, polyethylene and is in sheet form having a thickness in the range of from 1/64 inch to 1/4 inch and a density of between 11/2 and 9 pounds per cubic foot.
