Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 66 words
The method of implanting in a patient a controlled-release member, said member containing and releasing in controlled manner an effective dose a member selected from the group consisting of enalapril maleate, catapril and seralasin acetate, of a pharmaceutical antagonist of the renin-angiotensin system of said patient, whereby the growth of vascularization in said patient at least in an area adjacent said implanted controlled-release member is inhibited.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 66 words
The method of implanting in a patient a controlled-release member, said member containing and releasing in controlled manner an effective dose a member selected from the group consisting of enalapril maleate, catapril and seralasin acetate, of a pharmaceutical antagonist of the renin-angiotensin system of said patient, whereby the growth of vascularization in said patient at least in an area adjacent said implanted controlled-release member is inhibited.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 16 words
The method of claim 1, in which said controlled-release member is implanted at a tumor site.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 13 words
The method of claim 2 in which said pharmaceutical antagonist is saralasin acetate.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 19 words
The method of claim 2 in which said pharmaceutical antagonist is an antagonist to the action of angiotensin II.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 19 words
The method of claim 2 in which said pharmaceutical antagonist inhibits the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 13 words
The method or claim 2 in which said pharmaceutical antagonist is enalapril maleate.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 12 words
The method of claim 2 in which said pharmaceutical antagonist is captopril.
