Abstract
Abstract An inking ribbon for transferring color under the influence of heat. The inking ribbon including a carrier layer, an ink layer, and a decomposable components that promotes the transfer of the color upon the application of heat. The decomposable component is cellulose nitrate, the decomposition temperature of the cellulose nitrate is variable in the range between 100° C. and 150° C. with catalytic additives.
