Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 3
Claim 1
Independent Claim 92 words
Apparatus for processing a material by laser radiation comprising a first laser having a beam of radiation of a first wavelength directed to impinge upon a surface of said material, means to cause relative movement between said material and said beam to cause said beam to travel along a track and a second laser having a beam of radiation of a second wavelength directed to impinge upon said material in advance of and spaced from said beam of said first laser and reduce the reflectivity thereof to radiation of said first wavelength.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 92 words
Apparatus for processing a material by laser radiation comprising a first laser having a beam of radiation of a first wavelength directed to impinge upon a surface of said material, means to cause relative movement between said material and said beam to cause said beam to travel along a track and a second laser having a beam of radiation of a second wavelength directed to impinge upon said material in advance of and spaced from said beam of said first laser and reduce the reflectivity thereof to radiation of said first wavelength.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 45 words
Apparatus according to claim 1, including beam deflection means disposed between said first and second lasers and said material, said beam deflection means being capable of altering the path of each of said beams from said laser to said material independently to accommodate non-linear tracks.
