A cover for car lamps as set forth in claim 4, wherein said oxidative color-forming layer is a material chosen from the following: IrO x , Cr 2 O 3 , Ir(OH) x , Ni(OH) x , NiO, Ni, Rh(OH) x , RhO, and Ru(OH) x , said electrolyte is a material chosen from the following: Ta 2 O 5 , LiF, SiO 2 , ZrO 2 , MgF 2 , CaF 2 , Al 2 O 3 , Y 2 O 3 , Na-β-alumina, and Li 3 N(Li + ), and said reductive color-forming layer is a material chosen from the following: WO 3 , TiO 2 , MoO 3 , and Nb 2 O 5 .
