Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim
80 words
A method for treating a woven textile fabric comprised of polyester-containing yarns to decrease the bending recovery of said fabric, comprising passing said polyester-containing fabric between a pair of opposed calender rolls while maintaining the pressure exerted on said fabric by said rolls at a substantially uniform value, said valve being within the range of about 1,000 p.s.i. and 3,500 p.s.i., and maintaining said fabric at a temperature below about 150° F. while passing said fabric between said opposed rolls.
Claim 2
Independent Claim
80 words
A method for treating a woven textile fabric comprised of polyester-containing yarns to decrease the bending recovery of said fabric, comprising passing said polyester-containing fabric between a pair of opposed calender rolls while maintaining the pressure exerted on said fabric by said rolls at a substantially uniform value, said valve being within the range of about 1,000 p.s.i. and 3,500 p.s.i., and maintaining said fabric at a temperature below about 150° F. while passing said fabric between said opposed rolls.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
34 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said pressure value is within the range of about 2,000 p.s.i. and about 3,100 p.s.i., and wherein said fabric is maintained at a temperature below about 125° F.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
31 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said pressure value is within the range of about 2,500 p.s.i. to about 3,000 p.s.i., and wherein said fabric is maintained at substantially room temperature.
