Abstract
Abstract The present invention relates to a suspension means for supporting the cab of a truck cab on a truck chassis frame. More particularly, it relates to a means of fine tuning the frequency response of the spring mass system to isolate all of the modes of the frame and still control hard jounces. The suspension includes air springs, an air reservoir, an hydraulic shock absorber, and height control valve. An air reservoir serves to lower the spring rate of the air spring, and an orifice causes nonlinear air damping of the system.
