Abstract

Abstract A suction installation for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine which includes a vessel-like manifold device from which suction pipes extend toward a cylinder head of the internal combustion engine. The shape of the entire manifold device corresponds to a sphere whereby the suction pipes are aligned toward the center of the sphere; the air is conducted to the cylinders of the internal combustion engine from the interior space of the sphere.
