Abstract
Abstract An organosilicon compound represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R 1 may be the same or different and represents an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R 2 and R 3 may be the same or different and represents an alkylene group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and R 4 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and a process for preparing the same. This compound is useful for improving adhesive properties of UV curable silicone compositions and the like.

A process for preparing an organosilicon compound represented by the general formula (I): ##STR13## wherein R 1 may be the same or different and represents an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R 2 and R 3 may be the same or different and represents an alkylene group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and R 4 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, comprising reacting an organosilicon compound represented by the general fromula (II): (R.sup.1 O).sub.3 Si--R.sup.2 --N═C═O (II) wherein R 1 and R 2 are as defined above; with a compound represented by the general formula (III): ##STR14## wherein R 3 and R 4 are as defined above; in the presence of a catalyst.
