Abstract
Abstract A pouched powder detergent is disclosed which comprises a powder detergent and a pouch containing the powder detergent, wherein the pouch comprises a cold water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol derivative containing 70 to 90 mole % of vinyl alcohol units, 0 to 2 mol % of vinyl acetate units and 10 to 30 mol % of acetalized vinyl alcohol units having an alkyl group containing 0.34 to 1.70 carbon atoms on the average, and having a viscosity-average polymerization degree of 200 to 500 with respect to the vinyl monomer units.
