Abstract
Abstract A combined holder and opener characterized by a framework having a container receiving base, a side wall extending upwardly from the base and including arms at least partially surrounding the container, and a handle. The handle has a first portion extending outwardly from the side wall of the framework and a second portion extending downwardly, where the free end of the latter includes a cavity for selectively receiving the pull tab on the top surface of the container. Provision is also made on the inner surface of the second portion of the handle, in the form of a recessed area, for fingertip engagement.
