Abstract

Abstract A sequence in the control apparatus of a copy machine performs sequence timing control of electronic equipment in a predetermined order and includes a counter for counting timing pulses received from an external device. A comparison register is included in the controller for comparing a count of the counter with data stored in a memory. The controller may also include a means for designating a channel in correspondence with a control object or a means for designating a channel in accordance with a program preset during the initialization of the equipment. Comparison data may be provided as a ROM code and transmitted to a data area in accordance with the control object preset at initialization so as to be selectively used.
