Abstract

Abstract A circuit board containing control mechanisms for operation of an electric fan motor is fixedly assembled exteriorly to an end flange of the motor in only one position so that electrical contacts on the board extend through apertures in the end flange to cooperate with contacts on the motor side of the end flange to provide a completed motor. Assembly of the circuit board can be done without disassembly of the fan or motor, so that testing prior to insertion is possible.
