Abstract
Abstract A method of processing a silver halide color photographic material in which the color developer used comprises an aromatic primary amine color developing agent and a compound of formula: ##STR1## wherein X represents a trivalent group necessary to complete a condensed ring; R 1 and R 2 each represents an alkylene group, an arylene group, an alkenylene group, or an aralkylene group; and, if desired, does not contain a substantial amount of benzyl alcohol to achieve improved stability and color developability of the color developer and a reduction of fog generation in the running development process.
