Abstract

Abstract A combination for securing an anchor member in a receiving material includes a hardenable reaction resin mortar containing filler material and a sleeve-like dowel member with openings extending through the dowel member wall so that mortar injected into the dowel member can escape laterally outwardly through the openings. The ratio of the diameter of the openings through the dowel member wall to the mean particle diameter with the filler material is in the range of approximately 1.5 to 12.0, and particularly 1.8 to 5.6.
