Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to a process for isomerizing alkylthiophenes on zeolite catalysts. In particular, methylthiophene and ethylthiophene can be isomerized by this process. Suitable zeolites are in particular synthetic zeolites of the pentasil, mordenite of faujasite type in their acid form.
