Claim 1
Independent Claim
96 words
A process for improving the octane value of an olefinic gasoline comprising aromatic, paraffinic and olefinic components, which method comprises contacting the olefinic gasoline with an acidic crystalline zeolite having an alpha value of 5 to 100 and a constraint index of 1 to 12 in the absence of hydrogen at a pressure of 0 to 50 psig and at a temperature of at least 700° F. to effect a conversion of from 0.5 to 5 weight percent to C 1 to C 4 products, to effect an increase in the octane number of the gasoline.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
