Abstract

Abstract An electrical junction system for automotive internal wiring has a wiring board provided with branching conductors formed by a multiplicity of bus bars on an insulation plate, the branching conductors being adapted to be connected to electric wires in a wiring harness to form branching electric circuits. The electrical junction system has a printed circuit board detachably mounted on the wiring board, the printed circuit board generally or inclusively carrying a plurality of circuits incorporating a multiplicity of function parts which are used semi-permanentally such as relays and associated control elements.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 2
Claim 1
Independent Claim 162 words
A terminal member for establishing electrical contact between a printed circuit board and a bus bar conductor, said terminal member comprising a first wall, a pair of side walls extending outwardly from opposite sides of said first wall, a first pair of slots formed in said side walls and extending from respective one ends of said side walls, a resilient conductor having an extending portion projecting from an end of said first wall and reentrantly bent relative to said first wall, and a second pair of slots extending from said first wall, through respective of said side walls, said first slots being adapted to receive a printed circuit board to resiliently engage a surface of a terminal of the circuit board between the extending portion of the resilient conductor and one side of said first slots, said second slots being adapted to receive an end of a bus bar conductor to establish contact between the terminal member and the bus bar conductor.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 162 words
