Abstract

Abstract Resinous compositions having excellent impact resistance are obtained by initially blending at least one polyphenylene ether or a blend thereof with at least one polystyrene, a functionalizing compound such as maleic anhydride or fumaric acid and an unfunctionalized elastomeric olefin copolymer such as an EPDM, and subsequently blending the resulting product with at least one polyamide.
