Abstract Azo compounds of the formula I ##STR1## wherein X is --H, --CH 3 , --CF 3 , --NO 2 , --COOR 1 , --NHCOR 2 or --COHN 2 , and R 1 and R 2 are as defined in claim 1, are suitable for pigmenting high-molecular organic material.
