Abstract
Abstract A device for separately storing and mixing two ingredients, comprising a flexible bag (10) and an encapsulating container (40) which encapsulates a portion of the flexible bag (10). This results in the separation of the flexible bag (10) into two compartments (24, 26) at neck portion (28). The encapsulating container (40) has releasable partitioning means (50), whereby upon the release of the means (50), the container (40) opens, permitting the mixing of the ingredients stored in the compartments (24,26).

Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim
110 words
A device for separately storing two ingredients and subsequently mixing said ingredients in said device comprising: (A) a flexible bag; and (B) an encapsulating container, wherein said encapsulating container: (a) encapsulates a portion of said flexible bag; and (b) comprises releasable partitioning means for: forming a first compartment comprising said encapsulated portion of said flexible bag and a second compartment comprising said non-encapsulated portion of said flexible bag, sealing said first compartment from the atmosphere external to said encapsulating container ; and securing said encapsulating container to said flexible bag, wherein upon the release of said releasable partitioning means said encapsulating container is no longer secured to said flexible bag.
Claim 2
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
14 words
The device of claim 1 wherein said second compartment comprises at least one port.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
15 words
The device of claim 2 wherein said encapsulating container is made of a rigid material.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
12 words
The device of claim 3 wherein said encapsulating container is one component.
