Abstract

Abstract Unitary receptacle and contact pieces for vaporization and spectroscopic analysis of an analysis sample. Receptacle means are incorporated in the receptacle reception of the sample. The contact pieces are formed integrally with the receptacle for connection of the reception means to an electrical supply unit to enable the sample to be heated. The reception means may constitute a bore in the receptacle, a cup for containing an analysis sample engageable in the bore and additional contact pieces formed integrally with the cup for connection of the cup with a current supply unit therefor.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 49 words
Unitary receptacle and contact pieces comprising a receptacle incorporating means for the reception of an analysis sample for vaporization and spectroscopic analysis therein, and contact pieces formed integrally with the receptacle for connection of the reception means to an electrical supply unit to enable the sample to be heated.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 49 words
Unitary receptacle and contact pieces comprising a receptacle incorporating means for the reception of an analysis sample for vaporization and spectroscopic analysis therein, and contact pieces formed integrally with the receptacle for connection of the reception means to an electrical supply unit to enable the sample to be heated.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 30 words
Unitary receptacle and contact pieces according to claim 1, wherein the receptacle is a tubularly extended receptacle, and wherein the contact pieces extend over the whole length of the tube.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 23 words
Unitary receptacle and contact pieces according to claim 1, wherein the contact pieces are provided with the apertures which reduce the cross-section thereof.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 23 words
Unitary receptacle and contact pieces according to claim 2, wherein the contact pieces are provided with the apertures which reduce the cross-section thereof.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 23 words
Unitary receptacle and contact pieces according to claim 4, wherein the apertures are a plurality of slots which extend parallel to the tube.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 50 words
Unitary receptacle and contact pieces according to claim 1, wherein the reception means comprises a bore in the receptacle, a cup for containing an analysis sample engageable in the bore and additional contact pieces formed integrally with the cup for connection of the cup with a current supply unit therefor.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 22 words
Unitary receptacle and contact pieces according to claim 1, wherein the unitary receptacle and contact pieces are formed of carbon or graphite.
