Abstract
Abstract A control system for a lock-up clutch in a torque converter wherein a lock-up clutch is controlled in response to load on a power source drivingly connected to an input element of the torque converter. A throttle opening degree and a revolution speed of an output element are used to determine load on the power source. In response to the load on the power source, a control gain is altered and the lock-up clutch is controlled in accordance with this altered control gain.
