Abstract
Abstract A photographic material is described, comprising at least one layer containing at least one of (i) a polymer of a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, L represents a divalent organic linking group, A represents a divalent organic linking group derived from a polymerizable monomer unit, n represents an average degree of polymerization and is a number of at least 2, and Y represents a monovalent organic bonding group and (ii) a copolymer of the compound represented by formula (I) with a copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomer.
