Abstract

Abstract The room temperature curable silicone rubber composition of the invention is outstandingly free from the problem of surface stain when a cured elastomer thereof used, for example, in building works is prolongedly exposed to the atmosphere with very durable stain-preventing effect by the formulation of a surface active agent having at least one fluorine atom in a molecule and a specific organosilicon compound of the formula R1-CO-NR2-CH2)b SiR3aO(3-a)/2, in which R1 and R2 are each a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R3 is a hydrogen atom, or monovalent hydrocarbon group, a is 0-3 and b is a positive integer not larger than 10, in addition to the usual components of conventional room temperature curable silicone rubber compositions.
