Abstract
Abstract An AC generator control status detecting device having an AC generator with a plurality of stator coils, a field coil and a plurality of rectifying diodes connected to the stator coils; a regulator connected to the field coil to control field current; a field current state output terminal connected to the junction of the field coil and the regulator; and a current limiting element between the junction and the field current state output terminal. Normal operation of the generator is maintained even when the field current state output terminal is short-circuited to ground.
