Abstract
Abstract Methacrylated siloxanes are prepared by hydrosilation of beta(allyloxy)ethyl methacrylate using a silicon hydride functional siloxane. Propene elimination is not a significant side reaction of the method. Methacrylated silicones prepared in accordance with the invention are capable of anaerobic cure.
