Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 82 words
A coating composition consisting essentially of (a) about from 60 to 90% by weight of an acrylic copolymer consisting of copolymerized methacrylamide and prepared from complemental quantities of (1) about from 20 to 60 weight percent methyl methacrylate, (2) about from 65 to 20 weight percent alkyl acrylate wherein the alkyl group contains from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and (3) about from 15 to 30 weight percent methacrylamide, and (b) about from 10-40 weight percent of at least one polyester urethane.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 82 words
A coating composition consisting essentially of (a) about from 60 to 90% by weight of an acrylic copolymer consisting of copolymerized methacrylamide and prepared from complemental quantities of (1) about from 20 to 60 weight percent methyl methacrylate, (2) about from 65 to 20 weight percent alkyl acrylate wherein the alkyl group contains from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and (3) about from 15 to 30 weight percent methacrylamide, and (b) about from 10-40 weight percent of at least one polyester urethane.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 21 words
A coating composition of claim 1 wherein the alkyl acrylate used in the preparation of the acrylic copolymer is butyl acrylate.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 32 words
A coating composition of claim 1 wherein the acrylic copolymer comprises about 80% by weight of the polymer blend and the polyester urethane comprises about 20% by weight of the coating composition.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 19 words
A coating composition of claim 1 wherein the polyester urethane is prepared from polycaprolactone diol and methylene bis(cyclohexyl isocyanate).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 16 words
A coating composition of claim 1 further comprising about from 0.03 to 6.0 percent curing catalyst.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 14 words
A coating composition of claim 5 wherein the curing catalyst is dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid.
