Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to the inhibition of corrosion resulting from the presence of vanadium and sodium in fuels, for example, in residual fuels, such as in those fuels used in steam boilers, process heaters and gas turbines, etc., by adding Mg/Al/Si combinations thereto. Mg/Al/Si combinations are more effective than other inhibitors at a high Na/V ratio.
