Abstract
Abstract An image forming apparatus which forms an image by transferring a color agent to a sheet, is provided with guide plates for guiding the sheet so that the sheet can travel in either direction in an image forming unit in an image forming mode, and with a first tray for receiving the copied sheet. A lever is provided for the guide plate so as to selectively discharge the sheet therefrom. The sheet discharged by the lever is received by a second tray.
