Abstract
Abstract A recording apparatus comprises a laser for emitting a laser light and a laser modulating circuit for modulating the laser light of the laser. The laser modulating circuit includes a monitor circuit for monitoring the level of the laser light and a comparator for comparating the output of the monitor circuit with a main exposure level or a shadow exposure level. An integrating circuit is set or reset in response to the output of the comparator. The output of the integrating circuit is adopted to control the laser so as to maintain the laser level at the value corresponding to the main exposure level or shadow exposure level.
