Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim
75 words
A method of producing brazed aluminum alloy structures of high brazing joint strength, comprising: forming said joint by brazing using brazing sheets formed by cladding both surfaces of a core member with a brazing material and joining it to a second member comprised of an aluminum alloy which has not been subjected to a heat treatment prior to brazing; treating the resulting brazed structure at a temperature of 500°-570° C. for at least one hour.
Claim 2
Independent Claim
75 words
A method of producing brazed aluminum alloy structures of high brazing joint strength, comprising: forming said joint by brazing using brazing sheets formed by cladding both surfaces of a core member with a brazing material and joining it to a second member comprised of an aluminum alloy which has not been subjected to a heat treatment prior to brazing; treating the resulting brazed structure at a temperature of 500°-570° C. for at least one hour.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
15 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said heat treatment is maintained for from 1-24 hours.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
22 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said brazing material is comprised of an aluminum alloy consisting essentially of Al, Si, and Mg.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
11 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said aluminum alloy contains Mg.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
29 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said second member is a fin and said core material is a heat exchanger body to which said fin is to be attached.
