Abstract A dielectric fluid for a metallized film capacitor consisting essentially of glyceryl triacetate and 0.01 to 10 weight % of a hindered phenolic antioxidant of N,N'-bis[3-(3',5'-di-tert-butyl-4'-hydroxyphenyl)propionyl] hydrazine. The capacitor body includes metallized polypropylene film forming the electrodes and a separating dielectric.
