Abstract

Abstract An ambient temperature curable composition is prepared from a α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carbonyl compound (such as trimethylol propane triacrylate) and a compound chosen from a particular class of compounds having an activated CH group (such as malonate group-containing oligomeric or polymeric esters). The coatings of the invention cure quickly without heating, and have excellent hardness.
